His Majesty King Hamad has issued an order to distribute Eid Al Fitr gifts to widows and orphans registered with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF).
He assigned the foundation, chaired by his representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to oversee the distribution of clothes.
Shaikh Nasser congratulated His Majesty on Eid Al Fitr, praying to Allah the almighty to bless the King with abundant health and happiness, and to protect Bahrain.
He praised the King’s constant interest in RHF-sponsored families, his keenness to share various occasions, including Eid Al Fitr, with them and his directives to provide services and care for those families to ensure decent and stable life for everyone.
RHF secretary general Dr Mustafa Al Sayed congratulated the King and Shaikh Nasser on Eid Al Fitr.
He paid tribute to His Majesty’s royal care and support for families registered with the RHF and their participation on several occasions and holidays, affirming the King’s keenness and interest in citizens and providing them with various services.
He pointed out that His Majesty has always been keen to provide care for the citizens, particularly widows and orphans.
Separately, the Royal Fund for Fallen Servicemen yesterday stressed its keenness to communicate with the families and relatives of martyrs during Ramadan to provide all necessary support, as directed by the country’s leadership.
The fund’s administrative director, Shaikh Khalid bin Salman Al Khalifa, said the move will be carried out in co-operation with representatives of the Bahrain Defence Force and the Interior Ministry.
The fund continues to harness all efforts to ensure the provision of all forms of care in gratitude and appreciation for the martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of their country, Shaikh Khalid said.
