BAHRAINI Afaf Al Musawi has won the Ideal Mother Award at a major event held in Luxor, Egypt.
The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) took part in the seventh International Festival for the Ideal Mother organised by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, Mohammed Bin Rashid Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, the Meshwar Development Foundation and Luxor University.
RHF secretary general Dr Mustafa Al Sayed expressed pride in the success of Ms Al Musawi which confirms the kingdom’s support for mothers, and reflects the RHF’s role in providing care for widows and orphans.
Ms Al Musawi thanked His Majesty King Hamad for his fatherly care for the RHF-sponsored families and praised the support of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
