Vandals and thieves have rampaged through dozens of public parks in the Southern Governorate leaving equipment damaged beyond repair, or missing, with expensive sanitary ware stolen along with children’s play equipment.Southern Municipal Council chairman Abdulla Abdullatif said that charging a small entry fee has not deterred the criminals and a lack of security has left them open targets for mean-spirited behaviour .
