Your dreams of living in your own castle could come true soon as a Scottish castle is on sale right now for just $37,000(BD13,950). But there is a catch... the current owners estimate that it will require an additional investment of $14.8 million(BD5.5 million) for repairs and restoration.
The castle known as Brough Lodge, located on the island of Fetlar in Shetland, is in one of the most remote parts of the UK.
The castle was built by a local merchant in 1825 but has been sitting empty since the 1970s. The current owners of the castle, the Brough Lodge Trust, are looking for a "philanthropic entrepreneur" who can take the remote building and turn it into a 24-bedroom retreat of international quality.
The Brough Lodge Trust also reported that they have already received several proposals from investors.
