Recommendations submitted by the Capital Trustees Board regarding the accumulated debts owed by expatriates who left the country, amounting to more than BD1 million, for municipal services such as rental fees, were referred to Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister, a source has said.
The recommendations have already been approved by the Capital Trustees Board and discussed with the financial and legal committee.
Also, e-government and the competent authorities, when providing expatriates with any services should ensure they aren’t in debt before obtaining a new service, the source pointed out, reports our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
