HI EVERYONE, I just wanted to say a huge ‘thank you’ from the bottom of my heart to all the friends, families and Barbie enthusiasts that came down to the premiere of the ‘Bahrain Barbie Show’ at Dana Mall last Thursday evening, in association with LuLu Hypermarket and The Butterfly Effect.
Seeing all the children’s faces light up with joy and excitement meant the world to me. Being able to see my vision come to life on stage, is one of my proudest achievements to date.
To direct, manage, and invest an entire production alone was quite intimidating, but in the end, it was worth every minute. From the dazzling costumes to the oversized toy props and LEDs, to the Roller-skating Toy Box scene and the Fitness Barbies; I want to thank all of my team: Yuri and the dancers from the Platinum Show, sound engineer Adel Fairooz, videographer Firaz at Kebbe Media, Zakkry Walls, Nadia Hijris and Soo Social Media, compere Shannon Crockett, The Butterfly Effect, prop maker Randys Production, my tailor Red Thread Tailoring and music producer Daryl Yquin.
And, of course, everyone at the GDN, Radio Bahrain, LuLu Hypermarket Dana Mall and, all of you wonderful people that came down to support and enjoy the show. I know that a lot of children were not able to have a ‘meet and greet’ photo with me because it was so busy. LuLu encourages safety at all of its events. We are in talks to do future meet and greets and more shows, so I will endeavour to make those dreams come true very soon.
