A WOMAN and a man have been sentenced to jail, in two separate cases, for attempting to smuggle drugs into Bahrain.
The wheelchair-bound 68-year-old Asian woman, who tried to smuggle more than five kilos of narcotic substances through Bahrain International Airport reportedly taking advantage of her disability, was jailed for three years behind bars .
