Kamal will be contesting both the women’s 100m and 200m while Ahmed will be running in the women’s 200m and 400m. On the distaff, Sabry will be taking part in the men’s high jump, and Mahmood in the men’s 3,000m and 5,000m.
The Bahrainis will be going up against talented up-and-coming athletes representing countries such as hosts Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco, to name a few.
The track and field events are taking place from today at Ismailia’s Suez Canal Authority Stadium.
