MANAMA: MPs will discuss a decree law introducing an infrastructure cess on private developers, during their weekly meeting on Tuesday.
The law aims to support the state budget by collecting money from property developers to fund infrastructure for their projects, according to a report in our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
Parliament will also review a draft law amending some provisions of law on establishment and organisation of Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority (BECA).
Under the amendments, profits generated by the authority shall be deposited at the treasury after deduction of reserves.
