More than 3,000 falcons from Bahrain and Gulf countries have received treatment at the kingdom’s specialist hospital for the birds of prey since it was first launched nearly five years ago.
Injured and sickly specimens are brought in every day to the Bahrain Falcon Hospital in Al Wasmiya in Zallaq to receive treatment for all kinds of conditions, from infections to repairs to broken or damaged feathers, as well as those needing to undergo major surgery .
