The Interior Ministry has received 2,000 electronic reports since the launch of the service in February this year.
The service has achieved a satisfaction rate of 93 per cent, according to Captain Mohammed Adel Zaman, a member of the ministry’s Development Team.
He said more than 800 follow-up requests had been sent by security departments to those who submitted reports to complete the required information, emphasising the ministry’s commitment to providing the highest quality services to citizens and residents.
In an exclusive statement to our Arabic sister newspaper Akhbar Al Khaleej, Captain Zaman explained that the application allows users to file reports on lost and found items, damage, misunderstandings, assault, insult, and behavioural issues.
Reports can be submitted to all departments in every governorate and their affiliated security centres, as well as to the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security, the Child Protection in Cyberspace Unit, and the Research and Follow-up Directorate at the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs.
