Victorious-racing owned Duty First triumphed yesterday in an international horserace held at Ayr Racecourse in the UK.
The two-year-old triumphed in the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes for Victorious, owned by His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Archie Watson-trained steed was ridden by jockey Hollie Doyle in the seven-furlong race. They went clear over one furlong out and powered to a comfortable victory in the end.
Duty First enjoyed a two-and-three-quarter-lengths gap ahead of runner-up Shining Pearl, competing for owner Shaikh Juma Dalmook Al Malktoum, trainer K R Burke, and jockey Clifford Lee; while Who Wants Me came third racing for Raymond Anderson Green, Iain Jardine, and Andrew Mullen.
