MOBILE diabetes units for children and an initiative to promote good habits and practices were among some of the top voluntary projects in Bahrain this year.The mobile diabetes units, an initiative by the Bahrain Diabetes Society, was honoured as the best project by a registered association, while ‘Awaydna’, the project to promote good habits and practices by social media influencer Dr Osama Bahar, won the best project by an individual or group .
