Students raised more than BD3,500 during a charity bake sale organised by Al Noor International School as part its community service activities. Children from the AS/A level, British senior section and the Indian Central Board of Secondary Education divisions took part in the initiative.
The proceeds were donated to the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) during a special ceremony at the school.
Present at the event were RHF assistant secretary general and chief guest Yusuf Al Yaqoob, charity donations section head Mai Ahmed Al Saie, charity donations specialist Reem Al Omran and donations department acting head Dana Erekat.
School director Dr Muhammad Mashood and acting principal AbdulRahman Al Koheji also attended.
