The Dutch maestro and violinist is back in Bahrain with a brand-new show. He and his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra will be performing tonight at Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre in Sakhir, as part of his most recent world tour.
This will be the classical musician’s third performance in Bahrain following acclaimed shows in February 2023 and 2024.
Playing his world-famous Stradivarius violin, André Rieu’s repertoire ranges from romantic, emotional ballads to the most gorgeous and celebrated waltzes.
He is credited with making orchestral music more accessible and bringing it to a wider audience. He has travelled the world with his orchestra for three decades, delighting international audiences with his unique, highly performative approach to conducting and playing.
