Bahrain today celebrates its landmark achievements as it marks the 24th anniversary of the National Action Charter.
Tributes were paid yesterday to His Majesty King Hamad’s vision in leading the march of development and progress towards achieving the hopes and aspirations of the people.
The King received cables of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty and Supreme Council for Women president, senior Royal Family members, ministers and government officials.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the significance of the National Action Charter as a pillar of Bahrain’s development process led by the King.
He noted its impact in bolstering the nation’s standing across sectors, fostering progress and prosperity over the past 24 years.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised that Bahrain’s developmental and national accomplishments were led by the King’s ambitious vision, as embodied in the National Action Charter, which serves as the foundation for the kingdom’s continued success.
He underscored the King’s approach in shaping a prosperous future for Bahrain and its people, enhancing the kingdom’s global competitiveness across economic, social, and sporting fields, among others.
He also commended the dedication of Team Bahrain members across all sectors, acknowledging their collective efforts in advancing national development.
HRH Prince Salman reiterated his commitment to implementing His Majesty’s directives and aspirations for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
The King thanked HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his cable of congratulations. He described the charter as a historic milestone in Bahrain’s development, reinforcing national unity, participation and progress as part of the kingdom’s comprehensive development process.
The King commended HRH Prince Salman’s efforts in upholding the values and principles of the charter by leading the committee responsible for its implementation.
He also praised HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s role in achieving key developmental milestones through strategic initiatives and projects that have advanced Bahrain’s progress.
