Bahrain is set to witness ‘the largest gergaoun celebration’, organised by the National Bank of Bahrain (NBB), starting tomorrow.
The colourful event will be held at The Avenues Bahrain from 8.30pm to 10.30pm, until March 14.
In the spirit of a Ramadan tradition cherished by children, the programme will feature a massive ‘Yalla-themed’ gergaoun bowl filled with more than 2,000 kilograms of candies and sweets, making it the biggest public candy distribution of its kind in Bahrain and the GCC.
Supported by the Capital Governorate and organised in association with The Avenues Bahrain, the all-inclusive gathering will welcome children, families, and members of philanthropic and social societies.
Special arrangements will be in place to accommodate individuals with special needs.
Meanwhile, live entertainment, a traditional band, Fraisa performance, mascots, a photo booth, competitions, and exciting prizes will make this an unforgettable experience, the organisers said.
Children holding a #Yalla_NBB account can also win special gifts and rewards.
Families are encouraged to open the Yalla account conveniently through the NBB Digital Banking App, grab their bags, and join #Yalla_Gergaoon at The Avenues Bahrain for three nights of festive fun and wonderful surprises.
