HIS Majesty King Hamad, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, received congratulations from Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), following the BDF military athletics team’s achievement at the fifth CISM Military World Winter Games.
The Commander-in-Chief noted that the success was made possible by the continued support of His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He emphasised the BDF General Command’s dedication to military sports, which contributed to the team’s distinguished performance.
He also commended the efforts of the BDF Military Sports Council in preparing the team and enabling it to reach a high level of competitiveness.
