BODYBUILDING – BAHRAIN’S bodybuilding national team have departed for the UAE to participate in the 2025 IFBB Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships.
The event, sanctioned by the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB), is set to get underway tomorrow and continue until Tuesday, with athletes from 23 Asian countries taking part. The kingdom’s delegation is headed by Bahrain Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (BBFF) vice-president Hamad Al Muhazaa.
There are four athletes set to compete, including Mohammed Bukhalaf, Khaled Al Saeedi, Abdulla Al Mansoor, and Sayed Hadi Hashem. The championship is the first for Bahrain’s national team in the current season. BBFF president Sami Al Haddad met with the nationals prior to their departure, and encouraged them to perform at their best in honour of the kingdom.
The athletes, on their part, assured to exert their utmost effort to represent the country well and fly the Bahrain flag high. Registration and weigh-ins for the championship are scheduled to be held today, with the competitions taking place from tomorrow.
