Hilal Technology in collaboration with Dell Technologies recently hosted a flagship industry event titled ‘Modern Data Centres Powered by Dell: Private Cloud, AI and Cyber Resilience’ at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain.
Attendees included Hilal Technology’s managing director Ronnie Middleton and executive director Jubran Abdulrahman alongside senior technology leaders, chief information officers (CIOs), cybersecurity professionals and digital transformation experts to examine the future of data centre modernisation, artificial intelligence (AI) adoption and resilient cloud architectures.
The opening address was conducted by Mr Abdulrahman as he welcomed guests to the forum.
The event unfolded with a series of specialist presentations delivered by Dell Technologies’ regional experts, offering deep technical insights and practical guidance for enterprises in Bahrain.
Dell Technologies account executive and global specialty sales Manaf AlShafai opened the technical sessions with a presentation titled ‘Modernising Data Centres with Dell Private Cloud,’ where he outlined strategies for building scalable, efficient and secure private cloud environments designed for modern enterprise workloads.
This was followed by an in-depth session titled ‘Dell AI Factory’, presented by Dell Technologies AI and data senior solutions architect Riyadh Al Khanin, who demonstrated how organisations can accelerate AI adoption through integrated, optimised infrastructure that supports data-driven transformation.
The final Dell presentation, ‘Building Cyber Resilient Workloads’ was delivered by Dell Technologies system engineer Farah Kawhary, highlighting the critical importance of cyber resilience, zero trust frameworks and modern data protection in an increasingly ‘threat heavy’ digital landscape.
Hilal Technology also showcased a live demonstration titled ‘Co-Creating Enterprise AI,’ where the team built an AI agent in real time, illustrating how Bahrain-based organisations can adopt practical AI solutions tailored to their operational needs.
The event concluded with closing remarks and an appreciation ceremony, followed by a networking lunch that facilitated collaboration among industry leaders, technology providers and enterprise stakeholders.
