MOTORSPORT – BAHRAIN-British GT team 2 Seas Motorsport are set to compete this week in the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa 2025.
The meeting marks the third round of this year’s GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, and 2 Seas will be represented by two cars.
The squad will be competing in their very own #222 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo with the quartet of Charles Dawson, Kiern Jewiss, Parker Thompson, and Lewis Williamson.
2 Seas will also be running Verstappen.com Racing’s #33 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo contender, which will be driven by Harry King, Chris Lulham, Thierry Vermeulen.
The #222 car will be running in the race’s Bronze category, while the #33 will be competing in the Gold.
After an impressive debut effort last season, 2 Seas are returning this year.
“It was a really special experience to be part of the event last year, and we have an exciting line-up,” said 2 Seas co-owner Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
“It is going to be exciting to see what they can achieve together.”
2 Seas and Verstappen.com Racing are part of a record 75-car field that will be tackling the race – establishing a new benchmark for the legendary event’s GT era.
The grid includes machinery from 10 automotive manufacturers, all of which compete full-time in GT World Challenge and have ambitions of claiming at least one of the five class wins on offer.
This week’s events kick off with a free practice that is scheduled for tomorrow, with pre-qualifying and qualifying to be held later in the day. The Superpole session will then take place on Friday, and then the 24-hour race will flag off on Saturday at 5.30pm, Bahrain time, and end at the same hour on Sunday.
This season’s calendar in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup features five rounds across Europe. Round one was held at Circuit Paul Ricard in France and then round two took place in Monza, Italy. Following this weekend’s event, the penultimate endurance meeting will then take place August 29 to 31 at the Nurburgring in Germany, and then the championship finale will be from October 10 to 12 in Barcelona, Spain.
