TENNIS – THE Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) announced yesterday a new partnership with Haqbaz Real Estate Company.
The partnership aims to provide support and sponsorship for the BTF’s activities and programmes, as well as its future plans to advance the sport, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop tennis in the kingdom.
The BTF hosted Haqbaz Real Estate Company chairman Majid Haqbaz on a tour of the federation’s courts and facilities, accompanied by BTF president Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, BTF secretary general Fouad Mohammed Al Ruwaie, and BTF board member and marketing and public relations committee chairperson Naila Abdullah Al Meer.
“This partnership is an important step towards enhancing the level of tennis in Bahrain,” said Shaikh Abdulaziz. “We believe that cooperation with institutions like Haqbaz will lead to positive outcomes in developing the sport and achieving the goals we aspire to.”
He noted that the support provided by private companies is a key element in the success of any sports programme. “We are working on implementing strategic plans aimed at promoting tennis in the kingdom, and the support of companies like Haqbaz will enable us to achieve these goals faster and more effectively,” he added.
Haqbaz commented: “We are proud to be part of this important initiative. Our support for the BTF reflects our commitment to developing sports in Bahrain, particularly in preparing young players.”
Haqbaz explained that the company will contribute to supporting training activities and hosting tournaments, which will help improve players’ performance and enhance their opportunities in local and international competitions.
He added: “We believe that investing in youth is an investment in the future. Through this partnership, we hope to inspire more young people to take up tennis and achieve sporting success.”
