A man is on trial in absentia for allegedly importing more than 22kg of Captagon pills via air mail from the UAE in order to sell and distribute the narcotics in Bahrain.
The 29-year-old Jordanian, who lives in West Riffa, left the country before the shipment arrived, and had tasked his sister with collecting the package on his behalf, the High Criminal Court heard .
