MOTORSPORT – BAHRAINI-British GT team 2 Seas Motorsport had strong results with their two cars in their respective qualifying sessions for the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa 2025, taking place at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
The event marks the third round of this year’s GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, and the 2 Seas crews are part of a record 75-car grid that will be competing in the day-long race, which is scheduled to flag off this afternoon at 5.30pm, Bahrain time.
2 Seas are running Verstappen.com Racing’s #33 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 Evo, driven by the trio of Harry King, Chris Lulham, and Thierry Vermeulen. They secured a front-row position on the Gold class grid after taking second on their category timesheet during yesterday’s Superpole qualifying session.
Superpole featured the fastest 20 overall cars from qualifying held on Thursday evening to determine the leading grid places for today.
Meanwhile, 2 Seas’ quartet of Charles Dawson, Kiern Jewiss, Parker Thompson, and Lewis Williamson in their #222 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo qualified 11th in the Bronze class. They did not compete in yesterday’s Superpole. The other categories of competitors in the event are Pro, Silver, and Pro-Am.
With King behind the wheel of their #33 challenger, Verstappen.com Racing posted a fastest lap time of two minutes 16.357 seconds during Superpole. They will be starting behind Gold class pole-sitters Herberth Motorsport, racing in their #92 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992). They clocked a best mark of 2:16.127.
Prior to Superpole, 2 Seas were the leaders in their division during qualifying, clocking a best lap time of 2:17.563.

Today’s CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa features a grid that includes machinery from 10 of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers, all of whom compete full-time in the GT World Challenge and have ambitions of claiming at least one of the five class wins.
The chequered flag will be coming down tomorrow evening at 5.30pm, Bahrain time.
