Self-proclaimed "rat whisperer" Suzanne Reisman has started a "Garbage and Rats" walking tour of New York City, where she offers to show tourists New York's finest rat-infested spots.
For just $40 (BD 15), Reisman leads tourists on a two-hour tour through Manhattan's most notorious alleys and corners, teaching participants about rats and their habits while treating the experience like an urban wildlife safari.
While wearing fuzzy rat ears on her head, she talks about the history of New York City's Sanitation, different rat species, and much more.
Reisman is a member of the "Rat Pack," a group of anti-rat activists trained by the New York City Sanitation Department, and hopes that by doing this, she will help with the city's trash problem.
The "Garbage and Rats in New York City Walking Tour" regularly sells out and is available for booking on TripAdvisor.
