A pioneering proposal to introduce hydroponic farming systems in Bahrain homes and buildings is gaining traction, with a civic official stressing its role in boosting urban agriculture amid space limitations and water scarcity.
The initiative is being spearheaded by Capital Trustees Board member Dr Wafaa Ajoor, who is calling for a shift in Bahrain’s national greening strategy towards more efficient, space-saving and sustainable farming techniques .
