BASKETBALL – Bahrain’s wheelchair basketball national team overcame their counterparts from Palestine 68-45 in their first match of the West Asian championship, currently being held in Amman, Jordan.
The Bahrainis were spearheaded by Nabil Al Doseri, who scored an impressive 33 points. The nationals will face Oman in their second fixture of the tournament this afternoon.
