a specialised training course has been held on using artificial intelligence (AI) in municipal work.
It was organised by the Bahrain Institute for Political Development yesterday, in co-operation with Muharraq Municipal Council.
The course is part of the National Awareness Programme, which aims to develop institutional skills for all members of society, including municipal council employees.
The course, presented by media adviser Muhannad Al Nuaimi, covered the basics of AI and its practical applications in municipal work.
Participants learned how AI tools can improve the quality of municipal services, raise institutional performance, develop community initiatives and enhance media engagement through new technologies.
The course included practical exercises on using AI for municipal content creation, data analysis, designing awareness campaigns and creating digital solutions to improve communication with citizens.
