BAHRAIN Olympic Committee (BOC) vice-president Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa congratulated Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and BOC president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa on the issuance of the Royal Decree reappointing him as GSA chairman.
Shaikh Isa highlighted that the confidence placed in Shaikh Khalid has been pivotal in advancing the kingdom’s sports sector. His forward-thinking leadership has driven substantial progress in both achievements and infrastructure, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in line with the leadership’s vision, said Shaikh Isa.
Shaikh Isa said that they have witnessed major progress in the sports system due to Shaikh Khalid’s efforts and impactful initiatives, which have enhanced the institutional environment, strengthened sports federations and clubs, and created new opportunities for athletes to achieve success.
Shaikh Isa also expressed confidence that the next phase will witness new achievements and initiatives that further strengthen Bahrain’s position as a leading regional and international sports hub.
