As part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard the marine environment and security, Coastguard patrols have seized a total of 69 illegal fishing traps (Gargoor), in addition to five prohibited fishing nets and three bottom trawl nets (Koffa), in separate incidents across various areas in the kingdom.
Necessary legal procedures have been taken regarding the violations, said the Interior Ministry on X .
