An expatriate has been sentenced in absentia to five years in prison for importing more than 130,000 Captagon pills, via air mail, worth an estimated total of BD640,000.
The 29-year-old Jordanian man was also fined BD3,000 yesterday by the High Criminal Court, which ordered to confiscate the narcotics and deport him after completing his sentence .
