Bowling enthusiasts and Filipino community members gathered at Funland Centre to take part in a charity tournament.
Present at the event were Philippines Ambassador Anne Jalado-on Louis, Capital Governorate’s follow-up and communication director Yusuf Lori and embassy staff.
Organised by the community-based women organisation Pinay Ikaw Na (PIN), the tournament featured 18 teams from various groups with APO Bahrain Alumni Association emerging as champions followed by The Fobs in the second spot and AB Guardians in the third position.
Proceeds from the tournament will go towards helping cancer patients, distressed overseas Filipino workers and community members.
