The Moroccan Embassy in Bahrain hosted a reception to celebrate Throne Day and the 26th anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s ascension to the throne.
Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh, Tourism Minister Fatima Al Sairafi, Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Foreign Ministry under-secretary for political affairs Khalid Jalahma were present.
Mr Al Jalahma highlighted the historical ties between Bahrain and Morocco, noting their continuous development across various domains.
This progress results from deep-rooted ties and a joint commitment to closer co-operation, supporting common interests and enhancing regional security and stability, he said.
Moroccan Ambassador Mustapha Benkhayi thanked Bahrain for its consistent dedication to supporting and strengthening bilateral ties.
He noted that this supports common interests and aids progress and prosperity for both countries and peoples.
