A reckless driver, who got behind the wheel while drunk and high, causing a crash that killed a father, mother and child, lost appeal against his jail terms today.
The 29-year-old motorist was sentenced to nine years in prison in two separate trials: one on charges of manslaughter, reckless driving, property damage, speeding, and one for his recreational drug use .
