The first auction session of this year's International Falcon Breeders Auction was held this evening at the Saudi Falcons Club in Malham, north of Riyadh.
The event, which runs until August 25, features leading breeding farms from around the world.
The session saw strong interest from falconers and enthusiasts. Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz purchased two falcons from Al-Aradi Farm for a total of SAR 180,000 (BD 18,000).
The first falcon sold for SAR 75,000 (BD 7,500) and the second for SAR 105,000 (BD 10,500).
The auction serves as a premier destination for elite falcons and is broadcast live on television and social media, attracting a global audience of falconers, producers, and enthusiasts.
