A firefighting helicopter crashed into a lake in France while on a routine mission to collect water for a nearby forest fire.
Footage of the chaotic incident shows the helicopter trying to scoop up water moments before it loses balance and plunges into the body of water, where it breaks apart on impact.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities, and the crew were confirmed to be unharmed.
