Khushi Pathan, a 21-year-old fashion design student from Vadodara, has developed solar-powered uniforms for the Indian Army as part of her research project.
Designed to allow soldiers to charge their electronic devices while on the move, the uniform helps them stay connected with their units, which will ideally enhance the operation’s efficiency.
The highly anticipated uniform is currently undergoing trials.
