The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has commended the rulings issued by the High Criminal Court against a number of defendants in cases of forging official documents with the aim of seizing support funds.
The rulings were issued after Tamkeen referred the reports to the Public Prosecution to take the necessary action.
The fund found, through its monitoring, follow-up, and inspection visits, that the accused had attached incorrect documents and papers to the employee wage support applications. After verifying all the details of the incident, the fund’s violations committee began submitting the report to the Public Prosecution to take the necessary action.
Tamkeen affirms its commitment to co-operating with partner entities to preserve and protect public funds, ensuring that support is directed to those who deserve it, and contributing to deterring any violations or attempts to fraudulently obtain support.
Tamkeen also commended the constructive co-operation with those who report violations through the designated channels, which reflects a sense of shared responsibility.
