CYCLING – Bahrain's under-19 cycling national team captured the bronze medals yesterday in the junior teams’ race at the Arab Road Cycling Championships 2025, currently being held in Sulaymaniyah Governorate in Iraq.
The meeting includes events for senior men, juniors, youth, senior women, and youth women.
The kingdom’s bronze-medallists included the trio of Mohammed Hassan Jawad, Hamoud Awad Al Farhan, and Abdulaziz Saleh Al Hamri.
The UAE were the gold-medallists while hosts Iraq claimed silver.
Bahrain are competing in the senior men’s, juniors, and youth competitions.
Jawad, Al Farhan, and Al Hamri are joined amongst the kingdom’s junior riders by Amer Saleh Al Khasham.
The senior squad features Ahmed Naser, Ahmed Abdulghani, Mahdi Hassan, and Sayed Ahmed Khalil; while Hassan Aqeel Thamer is competing amongst the youth.
