The Bahrain Pavilion at Gitex Global 2025 has officially opened its doors, drawing a significant crowd of global decision-makers, industry experts, and technology enthusiasts on its first day yesterday.
The premier tech event, currently running in Dubai, until Friday, is serving as a key hub for exploring advancements in artificial intelligence, software, and emerging technologies.
This year’s edition is the largest yet, bringing together more than 6,500 organisations from 180 countries.
Organised by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), the Bahrain Pavilion is showcasing 14 Bahraini startups and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating across various Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sectors.
The participating Bahraini companies include: Procural, Oreem, Invo POS, Palm Stays Real Estate Rental Platform, MenaMoney Technology, VirtuThinko, RemoteApps, Aman Compliance Solutions, ATME, Lumofy, Al Amthal Group, General Assembly, Mazad, and Arab Financial Services.
They are joined by key entities such as the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), the Information and eGovernment Authority, and Array Innovation.
Attendees at Gitex Global can engage with a dynamic schedule featuring panel discussions, presentations, competitions, and live demonstrations of cutting-edge innovations.
Tamkeen’s support for the Bahraini delegation is a direct alignment with its 2025 strategic priorities.
These priorities are focused on enhancing the position and competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector, equipping Bahrainis with suitable skills for career development, and prioritising enterprise growth, digitalisation, and sustainability within the national economy.
