MPs yesterday unanimously approved the following proposals and referred them to the Cabinet for review:
1. Launching a specialised industrial area for pharmaceutical products.
2. Constructing a walkway in the Southern Governorate constituency seven.
3. Allocating a premise for women’s activities at the Al Kharjiya Village Civil Society in Sitra.
4. Allowing Kuwara residents, a village nearby Tubli, to use the Tubli Primary School for Boys football pitch off school hours.
5. Building a new intermediate school for boys in Busaiteen.
6. Naming one of Manama streets after the late Shaikh Ibrahim Al Saad.
7. Increase green spaces on King Hamad Highway and Shaikh Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah Highway.
8. Allocating special parking spaces at vital public facilities for patients with chronic or serious health conditions.
A proposal to encourage motorists to instal dashboard cameras in their vehicles to enhance road safety, accountability and transparency in case of incidents has been postponed.
