An Indian teenager visiting Dubai reportedly died after falling from the top of a building in Deira on Friday.
Nineteen-year-old Mohammed Mishal, from Kozhikode district in Kerala, had been staying with his cousins in Dubai for the past 15 days.
On the day of the incident, Mishal had reportedly gone to the terrace of a multi-storey building to take photographs of flights.
“He was passionate about photography. Since the airport is nearby, he was likely trying to capture a close-up shot when his leg got stuck between two pipes, causing him to lose balance and fall,” a family friend told Gulf News.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but doctors could not save him.
Legal formalities to repatriate the young man’s body are currently underway.
