Y K Almoayyed & Sons (YKA) proudly celebrated Bahraini Women’s Day recently with its Bahraini women employees at a special gathering held at Ashrafs Tower in Manama.
The event brought together women from across the group’s divisions, along with senior management representatives led by YKA managing director Mona Almoayyed and Ashrafs executive director and YKA director Amal Almoayyed to honour the company’s female employees for their hard work, dedication and invaluable contribution to the company and Bahrain.
YKA’s chief executive officer Alok Gupta and Group HR manager Sonu Duggal were also present to showcase the company’s support during the gathering.
The celebration provided employees with an opportunity to connect, reflect and celebrate in an atmosphere filled with appreciation and gratitude. It highlighted the essential role Bahraini women play within the organisation; not only as high-performing professionals but also as influential contributors to Bahrain’s social and economic development.
YKA has long been at the forefront of empowering Bahraini women in the workplace.
The company takes pride in its strong legacy of female leadership, reflected through the prominent roles held by members of the Almoayyed family, serving on the board.
Their leadership has paved the way for generations of women within the organisation to grow, excel and take on strategic roles at every level.
Over the years, YKA has continued to foster an inclusive environment where women are encouraged to pursue excellence, innovate and lead.
This commitment aligns with Bahrain’s national vision of supporting women’s advancement and enabling them to thrive across all sectors.
