Dragon City Bahrain, the kingdom’s leading wholesale and retail trade centre, marked its 10th Anniversary with a grand ceremony at the Address Beach Resort Bahrain.
The celebration highlighted a decade of continuous growth, cementing Dragon City’s status as a key hub for trade, tourism and investment, and a major contributor to Bahrain’s economy. Notable guests, including Hamad Al Jowder, social programmes and community affairs director at Muharraq Governorate, and Zhou Chunlin, economic and commercial counsellor at the Chinese Embassy, were welcomed by Ahmed Al Ammadi, chief executive officer of Diyar Al Muharraq and board member of Dragon City Bahrain.
A significant announcement was the launch of Dragon City’s new Wi-Fi 7 network.
Introduced in collaboration with Batelco (Beyon) and supported by Huawei, this makes Dragon City the first public destination in the kingdom to offer the advanced connectivity standard.
The centre also announced its extensive participation in Bahrain’s National Day festivities. Furthermore, Dragon City is launching a major discount campaign for the first time, running until the end of the year to boost retail trade.
