His Majesty King Hamad received telephone calls from Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani and Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas, who congratulated him on Bahrain’s celebration of its National Day and the 26th anniversary of his accession to the throne and the accompanying national events.
They commended close ties between the countries and wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty.
