His Majesty King Hamad emphasised that the fraternal and distinguished relations between Bahrain and the UAE are deep-rooted historical ties, embodied in the sincere stances shared by the two countries.
His Majesty expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the gracious gesture and genuine sentiments reflected in naming one of Abu Dhabi’s prominent parks after His Majesty, accompanied by celebrations held in conjunction with Bahrain’s National Day and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne.
His Majesty also conveyed appreciation for the celebrations by the UAE in solidarity with Bahrain on its National Day, noting that these gestures reflected deep mutual respect and a shared destiny between the two nations.
His Majesty wished the UAE continued security, prosperity, and progress, and expressed hope that Bahrain-UAE relations will continue to serve as a model of constructive co-operation.
