Durrat Al Bahrain witnessed the highest rainfall on Monday and Tuesday, recording 29.8mm, followed by the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club with 27.8mm, the University of Bahrain with 27.2mm, Sitra with 25.4mm, the King Fahad Causeway with 18.4mm, and Bahrain International Airport with 13.7mm, the Meteorological Directorate at the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry reported.
The directorate forecast renewed chances of rainfall today, accompanied by brief gusts of up to 30 knots.
Temperatures are also expected to drop to 12C on Saturday and Sunday as the kingdom is likely to be affected by strong northwesterly winds today, along with a cold wave that will significantly lower temperatures.
