The Education Ministry yesterday announced its deep sorrow over the passing of the esteemed educator, Khalifa Hussein Al Showmali.
The former head of Secondary Education passed away yesterday.
The minister, Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma, expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the entire education sector, mourning the loss of a distinguished leader, dedicated teacher and accomplished school principal.
Generations of students graduated under his guidance and went on to serve the kingdom in prominent positions, he said.
The minister extended his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and all who knew and loved him, praying that Almighty God grant him mercy, forgiveness, and eternal rest.
