A major investigation has dismantled a human trafficking ring operating in Fahaheel, Kuwait, leading to the rescue of 19 runaway domestic workers and six men.
Among the victims was a woman who had been held captive since 2014.
The traffickers allegedly lured victims by posing as individuals offering shelter, only to confine them behind reinforced iron doors. The victims were coerced into forced labour under strict surveillance. Limited family contact was permitted, but always under gang supervision to maintain the illusion of safety.
Authorities arrested six suspects—four women and two men—who have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal proceedings.
