The Shura Council yesterday extended New Year greetings to His Majesty King Hamad, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the people of Bahrain.
In a statement delivered on behalf of the council, Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh expressed sincere wishes for the coming year to bring continued achievement, progress and prosperity to the kingdom.
He also offered prayers for the wellbeing of the leadership and the nation, emphasising the importance of unity and stability.
Mr Al Saleh noted that Bahrain’s accomplishments are built on security, cohesion and effective governance, which remain vital for sustaining development and national harmony.
